Watchlist Rule Scanner Panel
Manually flicking through every symbol in Market Watch to check one condition is slow and easy to do inconsistently. This panel runs one chosen rule - an RSI threshold or a fast/slow moving average cross on the last closed bar - across every symbol currently in Market Watch on a timer, and lists the symbols that currently qualify as a row of buttons directly on the chart. Clicking a row switches the CURRENT chart to that symbol (keeping the current timeframe), so acting on a hit takes one click rather than a manual symbol-list search. The scan runs on a timer (InpRefreshSeconds), not on every tick of the host chart. Re-running iRSI/iMA across the whole watchlist on every tick would be wasteful, and would also re-trigger MetaTrader's background history-load check for any watched symbol whose price history has not fully synced yet far more often than the panel actually needs to know. Notes and limitations - A symbol whose price history has not fully synced yet (freshly added to Market Watch) reports 0 from iRSI/iMA and is simply skipped that pass - it is picked up automatically once its history is ready on a later timer tick, never flagged as a false hit. - The MA cross rules check the last CLOSED bar only; a cross that occurs intrabar on the still-forming bar is not reported until that bar closes. - Scanning is bounded by InpMaxSymbolsScanned and InpMaxRows; a very large Market Watch list with the defaults left low may not report every possible hit - raise both inputs if that matters for your watchlist size. - One instance per chart is the intended use; running several instances with different rules on different charts works, but they draw independent panels and do not share scan results.
