Volume Participation Executor
A schedule built purely on the clock, like a TWAP, executes at the same pace whether the market is roaring or asleep. This EA instead releases the next child order once a configured number of new ticks have arrived since the last one - a real percentage-of-volume idea adapted to what retail MetaTrader feeds actually have available. Most retail feeds have no true traded-volume feed, only tick count, so this EA counts its own tick events directly rather than pretending otherwise. That IS the honest tick count: it is the same proxy every retail volume-based tool ultimately relies on, and it tracks quote-update frequency, which correlates with real activity without claiming to be real traded volume. A floor on the minimum seconds between slices exists specifically to stop a violent news-spike tick burst from releasing the entire remaining target in one or two seconds just because ticks arrived quickly - pacing by activity should smooth execution, not remove all restraint from it. Notes and limitations - "Volume" here means incoming tick count on the chart symbol, not real traded volume - most retail feeds have no free access to that. Treat this as pacing by quote activity, not literal market participation percentage. - Building the target still carries the same total market exposure as one large order once complete - pacing changes when the size arrives, not the size of the finished position's risk. - No stop loss or take profit is attached to any slice. - If the terminal or EA stops running mid-build, whatever has already filled remains open and unmanaged. - On MQL5 netting accounts, a foreign-magic position already on the symbol blocks every further slice rather than merging into it - see above.
