Trade Plan Checklist Gate
A trading plan written down somewhere it is not consulted in the moment is not much of a plan. This panel puts the checklist on the chart itself, between the trader and the Buy/Sell buttons, and makes it a genuine gate rather than a reminder: clicking Buy or Sell while any item is unticked does nothing except say, plainly, which items are still outstanding. The checklist items themselves come from a single configurable input, separated by the "|" character, so the panel can hold whatever a given trading plan actually requires - a higher timeframe trend check, a pre-planned stop level, a position size sanity check, a news-event check, or anything else worth forcing a second look at before risking money. Once every item is ticked, the panel behaves like an ordinary one-click trading tool: it sizes the position either by a fixed lot or by risk percent against the configured stop distance, and sends a market order with that stop and an optional take profit attached. The checklist then resets itself to fully unticked, by default, so the next trade has to earn its own confirmation rather than riding on a box ticked hours earlier. Notes and limitations - The gate only checks that every box is ticked - it has no way to verify that a ticked item is actually true. It stops an unconsidered click, not a dishonest one. - Market orders only. There is no pending-order or line-based entry mode; a configurable checklist gate was the point, not another order-entry panel. - Automated trading must be enabled in the terminal for the Buy/Sell buttons to work at all; the panel says so plainly if it is off.

Trade Plan Checklist Gate is an expert advisor (trading robot) for MetaTrader 4. It can size trades from your balance and risk percent and has a news filter. It has 11 settings, such as Fixed lots, Risk percent and Stop loss pips. MQL source code included.

How to install
- Download the ZIP from your PolyMaria library and unzip it.
- In MetaTrader 4 open File → Open Data Folder, then go to MQL4 → Experts.
- Copy the .mq4 file(s) there. Put any .mqh files in MQL4 → Include.
- Open the .mq4 file in MetaEditor and press Compile (F7) if MetaTrader does not show it.
- Drag the expert advisor from the Navigator onto a chart, check the settings, allow Algo/Auto Trading and press OK.
- Test it first on a demo account or in the Strategy Tester.
