Strong Close Continuation System

Close Location Value tells you where a bar closed within its own high-low range regardless of how wide that range was or what happened intrabar: a CLV near 1.0 closed at the high, near 0.0 closed at the low. A lot of "strong candle" logic in published EAs is really just body-size or bullish/bearish colour, which misses bars that wicked hard against the close but still closed strong - exactly the kind of bar CLV is built to identify correctly. This system computes CLV directly from the formula on every closed bar and additionally requires the bar's tick volume to exceed its own recent average by a configurable multiple, so a strong-looking close on a dead, thin bar (more likely noise than real participation) is filtered out. When both conditions align - CLV at or above the bull threshold with elevated volume, or at or below the bear threshold with elevated volume - the system opens a continuation trade with a stop beyond the signal bar's opposite extreme. Notes and limitations - Tick volume, not real traded volume, is what MQL4/most FX brokers provide - it is a proxy for participation, not an exact trade count. - A strong close against a very recent volume spike unrelated to the bar's own direction (e.g. a broad news tick surge just before the bar closes) can still qualify - the filter measures volume and CLV independently, not their causal relationship. - Only one position at a time. - Lot sizing uses MODE_TICKVALUE/MODE_TICKSIZE, not a hardcoded contract size. - A simple continuation system like this will take losses in a choppy market where strong closes reverse quickly - inherent to the method, not a configuration mistake.
