Stop Health Monitor
A stop loss is not just a price - its real meaning is a distance, measured against how much the market actually moves. A stop placed 2x the ATR away on the day a trade opened can quietly become a 0.4x-ATR stop a week later purely from volatility expanding, with the trader never having touched the stop price at all. At that distance the stop sits inside ordinary single-bar noise and is likely to be taken out by a normal swing rather than a real move against the position - a failure mode that is easy to miss because nothing about the order itself changed. This panel grades every open position's stop on two figures at once: its distance from the current price measured in ATR units right now, and the same distance measured against the ATR that existed at the moment the trade was opened. Comparing the two shows whether a stop's safety margin has eroded from volatility expansion even though the trader has not moved it, which a single "distance in pips" or "distance in ATR right now" figure alone cannot show. Every position is graded SAFE, TIGHT, or NOISE based on its current ATR-relative distance against two configurable thresholds, colour-coded for a fast scan across a book with several open positions on different symbols. Nothing here is hardcoded to one instrument: stop distance is measured in price units and divided by ATR (also price units), a ratio that works identically on a 3-digit JPY pair, a 5-digit majors pair, gold, or an index CFD. Notes and limitations - Market orders only (OP_BUY/OP_SELL). Pending orders have no live stop distance to grade until they fill. - An order with no stop loss set is shown plainly as NO STOP rather than silently omitted - a missing stop is itself the most serious case this panel can flag. - The entry-time ATR is recovered by locating the historical bar nearest the order's own open time and reading ATR there, so the panel needs no persistent state file and recovers correctly after a terminal restart. On a symbol with very short local history this lookup can fall back to the oldest available bar rather than the true entry bar. - Volatility is measured per order's own symbol on InpAtrTimeframe, independent of whatever timeframe the chart the indicator is attached to is showing. - This is a read-only monitor. It never modifies a stop loss itself - moving a flagged stop is left entirely to the trader.
