Slippage History Panel
Nobody logs their own slippage by hand, so most traders have a vague suspicion that fills get worse around certain hours and no actual evidence either way. MT4's history is not enough to prove it directly: the terminal records the price an order filled at, but never the price that was originally requested, so exact requote slippage cannot be reconstructed after the fact from account history alone. This panel builds the closest available substitute. For every closed market order it looks up the M1 bar that was open at the order's open time and uses that bar's open price as a stand-in for "the market price at that moment", then compares it to the order's actual fill price. The signed difference, in pips, is bucketed by the hour of day the order opened, and the table shows the average and the sample count for every hour that has at least one fill. A consistently positive average at a given hour is the signal worth acting on - it says fills during that hour have tended to land worse than the surrounding market price, which points at either a liquidity-thin session or a broker execution pattern worth raising with support. Notes and limitations - This is an estimate, not a broker-verified slippage log. The M1 open price is a reasonable proxy for the market price at fill time but is not the price the trader actually requested; genuine requote-level slippage data only exists in the broker's own server logs. - Orders older than the available M1 history on the terminal are silently skipped, since no reference price exists for them. A fresh terminal with a short M1 history will under-report. - Only market orders (OP_BUY / OP_SELL) are counted; pending-order fills and partial fills are not distinguished. - This produces a live-refreshing summary table, not a buffered historical series, and it never issues alerts.
