Session Handoff Note Writer

Stepping away from an account mid-session, or handing it to someone else, usually means either a rushed verbal summary or nothing at all. This script writes a single text file capturing exactly what is live on the account at that moment: every open position with its stop-loss distance converted into actual money at risk, every pending order with its price and expiry, and the account's balance, equity and margin level - followed by two free-text sections for watch levels and the current plan, typed in through the input dialog since a script has no other way to take multi-line notes. Money at risk to the stop is computed from the symbol's real tick size and tick value rather than assuming a fixed pip value, so it stays correct on instruments where a pip is not worth a flat $10 per lot (gold, indices, JPY crosses and similar). Notes and limitations Risk-to-stop is 0 for any position with no stop-loss set, since there is nothing to measure a distance to - this is stated as 0 in the output, not omitted, so a missing stop is visible rather than hidden. Pending order lines show the raw MQL4 order type as a number (4-9), since a compact one-line summary has no room for the full type name. The watch-levels and plan-notes fields are single-line input boxes in MetaTrader's dialog, not a multi-line editor - long notes will scroll within the box but are still captured in full in the output file.
