Screener Result Trader
A screener that ranks symbols by some external logic - momentum, breakout strength, a custom scoring model, whatever the screener does - is only useful if acting on its output is fast and doesn't require re-typing symbols and lot sizes by hand. This EA reads a plain CSV of symbol, score, direction from any screener that can write one line per candidate, sorts the survivors by score, and draws them as a small chart panel with a Trade button on each row. Clicking a row's button sizes the position from InpRiskPercent of current balance against InpStopLossPips, using the symbol's live MODE_TICKVALUE and MODE_TICKSIZE rather than an assumed contract size - gold, indices and JPY crosses all price risk differently, and this reads the real numbers each time. Once a row has been traded its button is marked "done" and clicking it again does nothing, so a double-click cannot double a position. The panel is not click-to-close or click-to-modify - it is a fast way to act on a screener's ranking once, not a full order-management surface. Symbols the terminal does not recognise (unavailable in Market Watch, misspelled) are silently dropped from the ranking rather than shown as an unusable row, since MODE_POINT returning zero is the terminal's own signal that a symbol is not tradable here. Notes and limitations - One-shot per row: once traded, a row's button is disabled logically (repeat clicks are ignored) until the screener file changes and reintroduces that symbol as a fresh row. - Market entries only - the panel does not place pending orders. - Ranking is purely by the score column the screener supplies; this EA does not itself compute or validate that score, and trusts the file as-is beyond checking the symbol is tradable and the direction is BUY or SELL. - Change detection is a byte checksum over the file rather than a file-modified-time API, so an edit that produces byte-identical content will not trigger a refresh - not a practical concern for a regenerated screener file. - Risk sizing assumes a single position per trade with no existing exposure on that symbol factored in; it does not account for correlated risk across several candidates traded from the same panel refresh.
