Scaling Plan Ladder Manager

A funded-account scaling plan raises the size an account is allowed to trade as its cumulative return passes defined milestones, and typically steps it back down if the account gives back a meaningful chunk of its peak balance afterward. Tracking that by hand means remembering which rung the account is currently on and recalculating whenever the balance moves - easy to get wrong, and easy to forget to step back down after a losing stretch. This EA parses a ladder of return-percent/multiplier rungs from a single input string, tracks total return from the plan's start balance, and finds the highest rung the account currently qualifies for on the step-up side. Separately, it tracks the peak balance the account has ever reached and steps back down one rung whenever equity falls more than a configured percentage below that peak - never below what the return-based rung already allows, so a temporary equity dip that recovers before the next recalculation does not ratchet the account down further than the ladder's own return milestones justify. The resulting allowed lot size (base lot times the current rung's multiplier) is published as a GlobalVariable for a separate sizing EA to read before its own OrderSend. This EA places no orders itself - MQL4 has no mechanism for one program to intercept or resize another's trade request, so "enforcement" here means a number another program chooses to read and respect, not a guarantee. Notes and limitations - Advisory only. The published GlobalVariable is a suggestion for another program to read; this EA cannot force any other EA or the trader to respect it. - The step-down rule reacts to equity (including floating P/L), so a large open loss can trigger a step-down that reverses itself once the position closes back near breakeven - by design, since the whole point is to react to real drawdown as it happens rather than only after it is realised. - The ladder, the base lot, and the step-down threshold all come from your own scaling plan's published terms, not from this tool - the shipped default values are illustrative only and must be edited to match your actual agreement. - Start balance and start date are captured once into persisted terminal GlobalVariables and reused across restarts unless overridden - the same pattern used elsewhere in this catalogue for evaluation-tracking tools. - The published lot size is not normalised against any particular symbol's minimum lot, lot step or maximum lot - the sizing EA reading it is responsible for normalising against the symbol it actually trades before sending an order.
