Round Number Fade EA
Round numbers act as informal support and resistance because resting stop and limit orders bunch up around them - a trader placing a level by eye tends to round to a whole or half figure. That clustering gives round-number levels genuine reaction potential even though nothing about the number itself is technically special. The grid used here is anchored at price zero, not at wherever the chart happened to be when the EA was attached: MathRound(price / step) * step with a 100-pip step lands exactly on 1.1000, 1.1100 and so on, which is what makes the level an actual round number rather than an arbitrary offset. InpRoundStepPips controls the grid spacing, so setting it to 50 trades half-figures as well as whole ones. A touch requires the bar to reach within InpTriggerPips of the level and then close back on the far side as a rejection candle - price that simply crosses the level without reversing is not faded. The stop sits just beyond the level by InpBufferPips; the target is a fixed InpTakeProfitPips distance rather than the next round number, since the next level over is a full grid step away and rarely reached on the same swing that produced the rejection. Notes and limitations - Signals are evaluated once per closed bar, not on every tick. - One position at a time, tracked by InpMagicNumber. It will not manage or interfere with trades opened manually or by another EA. - Round-number reactions are a documented tendency, not a guaranteed edge - a level can be blown straight through in a strong trend, and the fixed InpTriggerPips/InpBufferPips defaults are not correct for every symbol or volatility regime. Test before relying on them. - Requires AutoTrading enabled and IsTradeAllowed() true; if trading is disabled the EA logs it and skips the entry.
