Risk Remapping Copier
Most published copiers scale the master's lot size by a fixed multiplier and call it risk management. That silently breaks the moment the slave account's balance, currency, or the traded symbol's contract size differs from the master's - a 0.10 lot on a $50,000 master account and a 0.10 lot on a $500 slave account are not remotely the same risk, and a naive multiplier cannot fix that because the master's lot size was never a risk figure to begin with. This copier does not read the master's lot size at all. Its signal file carries only a symbol, a direction (BUY, SELL or FLAT), a stop distance in points, and a timestamp. From those four fields it derives its own order size from this account's own live equity, a configured risk percent, and the symbol's own tick value and tick size read fresh from the broker - never a hardcoded contract size, since gold, indices and JPY crosses all behave differently. The result is a lot size that means the same thing on this account regardless of what account, currency or balance the signal originated from. A stale signal (older than the configured maximum age) is ignored outright rather than acted on as if it just arrived - trading a copy of old news is worse than not trading at all. Notes and limitations - This EA does not write the signal file itself - it only reads one. The master/bridge side (another terminal, a script, a webhook receiver) is outside this project's scope and must be built separately. - If the computed risk-derived lot size rounds down to zero (risk percent too small relative to the stop distance, or the symbol's minimum lot is larger than the computed size), the signal is skipped and logged rather than forcing a minimum-lot trade that would carry more risk than configured. - A FLAT signal closes this EA's own open position on that symbol; it does not touch positions opened by any other EA or magic number. - Only one open position per symbol is managed at a time - a repeated BUY/SELL signal while already in a matching position is a no-op.
