Narrated Decisions Teaching EA
Most demo EAs show what they did after the fact: an order appeared, or it didn't. They rarely show what was actually checked along the way, so a beginner reading the log still has to guess why nothing happened on a given bar. This EA is built the other way round - narration is the point, trading is the payload. On every new bar it runs the same checks a disciplined manual trader would run in order, and narrates each one as it happens: fast EMA against slow EMA for trend direction, RSI against an overbought/ oversold level for momentum, current spread against a maximum, server hour against a trading window, and finally ATR-based stop/target distance against the broker's minimum stop level. Any failed check stops the sequence there and says why, in one sentence. If every check passes, it narrates the position-size arithmetic too - the equity risked, the stop distance, and the resulting lot size - before sending the order. Once in a position it narrates the one piece of trade management it performs: moving the stop to break-even once profit reaches a configurable number of R. Narration lives in a small ring buffer so the visible chart panel stays a manageable size while the Experts log keeps the full, unbounded history of every decision made. Notes and limitations - This is a real trading EA, not a pure demo - it sends live orders when attached to a live account. Test on demo first, and treat the EMA/RSI cross strategy itself as a teaching vehicle, not a claim of edge; no backtest or performance guarantee is made or implied. - Manages at most one open position per chart at a time; it does not pyramid or scale in. - Trade management is limited to a single break-even move - no trailing stop beyond that point. - Narration reflects this EA's own reasoning only. It says nothing about positions opened by another EA or by hand on the same account. - The ring buffer only holds the most recent InpMaxNarrationLines entries on the chart; review the Experts log for anything older.
