Live Equity Curve

Checking account performance usually means opening the terminal's Account History tab, or exporting a report elsewhere. This indicator keeps the running balance and equity lines directly beside the price action instead, which makes it easy to see, for instance, that today's drawdown lines up with a specific volatile session on the chart. MT4 does not keep a bar-by-bar log of past account state, so a genuinely historical equity curve cannot be reconstructed from the terminal alone - any indicator claiming otherwise for the period before it was attached is guessing. This one is honest about that limit: it starts recording the moment it loads and samples the live balance and equity into the current, forming bar on every tick. Once a bar closes, its sampled value is frozen and the indicator moves to sampling the new bar, so the curve for already-closed bars never changes retroactively. Notes and limitations - There is no history before the indicator was first attached to a chart; bars before that point show no value, by design, rather than an invented flat line. - The current, still-forming bar updates live on every tick; only bars that have actually closed hold a frozen value. This is expected behaviour, not repainting of settled data. - Balance and equity are account-wide, not per-symbol - attaching the indicator to two different charts on the same account plots the same two lines twice. - This is a monitoring display, not a trade signal generator; it produces no alerts.
