Killzone Marker
Killzones are the narrow, canonical windows ICT-style traders watch for liquidity moves - not the same thing as a generic trading session, and most session-shading indicators on the CodeBase treat them as one and the same. This one ships with the four killzone slots fixed (Asian, London, New York, London Close) with their usual default hours, each independently switchable, so it stays a purpose-built tool rather than a relabelled session box with different defaults typed in. Each zone's box is bound to the high and low of the bars that actually fall inside it, and keeps growing while today's instance of the zone is still forming, rather than being drawn to an arbitrary fixed height. Hours are read on the terminal's own server clock, the same clock every bar's time is already stamped in, so there is no timezone table to configure or get wrong. The one thing a plain shading indicator does not give a trader who has stepped away from the screen is a nudge that a zone just opened. This adds a single alert per zone instance, fired the moment the first bar of that zone closes - not a repeating alert on every tick inside the window. Notes and limitations - Broker server time is not your local time and is not a fixed offset from any named timezone (it can shift with each broker's own daylight saving calendar). Check what your broker's clock reads against a known reference before trusting the default hours. - A zone whose start hour is later than its end hour is treated as wrapping past midnight; a zone with start equal to end is rejected at load time. - Boxes are drawn from confirmed bar highs and lows only, so they never repaint - what you see for a finished zone is final. - This does not evaluate what happened inside a zone (no sweep or reversal detection), only when and where it happened. Pair it with a structure or liquidity indicator for the actual entry logic.
