Ensemble Vote Meter

Most multi-indicator "confluence" tools count votes equally: if two out of three indicators agree, that counts the same regardless of whether either of them has actually been right lately. That is a weak design in any market that changes regime, because an indicator tuned for a trend can turn into dead weight the moment the market starts ranging, and an equal-weight vote never notices. This indicator runs three simple, independent voters every bar - a fast/slow moving average cross, RSI against its 50 midline, and MACD main against its own signal line - each casting a +1 (bullish), -1 (bearish), or 0 (flat) vote. Behind the scenes it also replays each voter's own history: over the last InpAccuracyWindow evaluated votes, was the voter's call actually followed by price moving the direction it said, InpHorizon bars later? That rolling hit rate becomes the voter's weight, mapped so that 50% accuracy (a coin flip) or worse carries zero weight and only genuine edge above 50% earns influence. The plotted line is the weighted average of the three current votes, scaled to -100..+100. The effect is graceful degradation: when all three voters have been earning their keep, the composite reflects real confluence; when one voter's recent accuracy has fallen to chance, it quietly stops influencing the line rather than requiring the user to notice and disable it manually. Notes and limitations - All three voters run on the same symbol and timeframe as the chart; this is not a multi-timeframe ensemble. - Accuracy scoring needs InpHorizon + InpAccuracyWindow completed bars of lead time, so the composite line only appears once enough history exists, and a brand-new symbol with short history will show nothing for a while. - A voter with no evaluated history yet defaults to 50% (coin-flip) accuracy rather than an assumed edge, so early in the visible history the composite understates confluence until real accuracy data accumulates. - This is a directional confluence meter, not a trade signal - it says nothing about position sizing, stops, or targets. - Rolling accuracy is recomputed by replaying each voter's own calls, which is comparatively CPU-heavy on very long history; a full recalculation on a fresh attach with a long chart history may take a few seconds.
