Crosshair Value Inspector
The terminal's built-in Data Window works, but it sits in a fixed side panel: reading it means glancing away from the price action, then back, every single time. This indicator puts the same kind of information directly next to the cursor instead, updating live as the mouse moves across the chart. Hovering over a bar shows its time, OHLC, and tick volume first, followed by a row for every readable buffer of every other custom indicator currently attached to the chart (main window and every subwindow), each read at that same bar via iCustom. The panel repositions itself to stay inside the chart area, flipping to the opposite side of the cursor near an edge rather than running off-screen. MQL4 has no API to ask another attached indicator how many buffers it has, so each one is probed on buffer indices 0 through InpMaxBuffersPerIndicator-1 and only the indices that return a genuine, non-empty value are shown - the same probing limitation, and for the same underlying reason, as this catalogue's Indicator Health Watchdog. Each probed indicator also runs on ITS OWN default input settings via iCustom, not whatever settings you actually set on the live attached copy - iCustom has no way to read another instance's live parameters. Notes and limitations - Cannot read another indicator's actual on-chart input settings - every probed value comes from that indicator run on its own compiled-in defaults via iCustom, which can differ from what is visibly plotted if you changed its inputs after attaching it. - Under-reports an indicator with more real buffers than InpMaxBuffersPerIndicator probes. - An indicator with calculation-only buffers (never meant to be read externally) may show extra rows that are not meaningful to a trader - there is no way to distinguish "internal buffer" from "meant for display" from outside the indicator itself. - Mouse-move events fire frequently; on a chart with many attached indicators and a high InpMaxBuffersPerIndicator, the panel may feel a step behind very fast mouse movement. - Chart objects created by this panel are cleaned up in OnDeinit and whenever the panel is hidden; removing the indicator removes the panel.
