Coppock Curve

The Coppock Curve was designed as a long-term momentum measure, originally tuned to a monthly chart as a way of timing major bottoms: a 14-period rate of change and an 11-period rate of change are added together bar by bar, and that summed series is then run through a 10-period weighted moving average. The step that is easy to get wrong when porting this is the WMA - it has to smooth the summed ROC series itself, not price, so it cannot be produced by calling a platform's built-in weighted moving average on the close price and adding two ROCs afterwards. This implementation keeps that order deliberately: the summed ROC series is written to its own internal buffer first, in full, since it is not recursive and cheap to rebuild every call, and only then is the weighted average taken over that buffer with a manual weighted sum - the same approach used for the middle stage of a Hull moving average, applied here to a momentum sum instead of a price difference. The classic 14/11/10 periods were chosen for monthly charts as a long-term signal; they are the defaults here but the indicator will run, and produce a value, on any timeframe. Notes and limitations - Needs InpLongRocPeriod (or InpShortRocPeriod, whichever is larger) plus InpWmaPeriod bars of history before the first value appears; earlier bars are intentionally left empty rather than guessed. - On the default periods, this is a slow-moving indicator by construction - it was designed to fire rarely, not to generate frequent signals, and behaves the same way regardless of the chart timeframe it is applied to. - The summed ROC buffer is rebuilt in full every call rather than tracked incrementally, since it is not recursive; this keeps the WMA pass correct with no risk of reading a stale value, at a modest, fixed extra cost per tick. - Recomputed from raw price with no dependency on its own previous curve value, so nothing here can repaint once a bar closes.
