Copier Configuration Panel
A local trade-copier setup is usually configured by hand-editing a settings file, or by inputs baked into the copier EA itself that require detaching and reattaching to change. Both invite a stray typo (a missing digit in a magic number, a malformed symbol list) that silently breaks copying with no feedback until trades stop arriving. This panel edits the same handful of settings - enabled, reverse-signals, lot sizing mode and value, max slippage, a symbol filter and a magic-number filter - through toggle buttons and validated edit boxes, and only writes the settings file once every field has already passed validation in memory. The file is written in one pass, all lines in a single open/write/close sequence, so a copier EA polling the same file never observes a half-written state partway through a save - the classic race in a hand-edited shared config. This panel defines and owns the settings file format itself. It does not include or otherwise depend on any other CodeBase submission's source; a separate copier EA that wants to honour these settings simply reads the same plain-text file and the same key names, documented below. Notes and limitations This panel is configuration-only - it never places, modifies or copies a single trade itself. It has no effect unless paired with a separate copier EA that has been written (or adapted) to read this exact file and key format; on its own it only produces a text file. There is no file-locking between this panel and a reading EA beyond the single-pass write already described - on a very unlucky read timed exactly mid-write a consumer could in principle see a partial line, though the single open/write-all/close pattern makes the window extremely small. Symbol and magic filters are stored as plain text/integers with no cross-check against the current account's actual symbol list or any other EA's real magic numbers - validating that the filter matches something meaningful is left to the copier EA that reads it.
