Chart State Text Announcer
A candlestick chart is a purely visual medium. Every piece of information it conveys - whether price is trending, how far it has moved from a reference average, how volatile the market currently is - has to be read by eye. For a trader using a screen reader, or simply wanting a text digest they can glance at on a phone without opening the terminal, none of that is available. This tool converts a handful of the same read a trader would do by eye into one plain sentence, repeated on a fixed timer rather than tied to bar close, and sends it out three ways: the Experts log (readable by any screen reader that can read the terminal window), an Alert popup, and an appended line in a plain-text file under MQL4\Files\ (or MQL5\Files\ on the native MQL5 build) that any external tool - including an actual screen reader running against that file, or a simple phone-side sync - can pick up independently of the terminal being in focus. The summary covers trend direction (fast vs slow moving average), distance from the fast average in pips, ATR-based volatility in pips, current spread in pips, and a coarse trading-session label derived from the server clock hour. None of this is a trading signal - it is a description of current conditions in words, the same reading a sighted trader already does by eye every time they look at the chart. Notes and limitations - This is a descriptive summary, not a trading signal - it reports what the market is currently doing in the same terms a sighted trader reads visually, nothing more. - The session label is a coarse fixed-hour bucketing against the server clock, not the broker's true local session calendar (weekends, holidays, and daylight-saving shifts on the broker's side are not accounted for). - The text file grows without bound as long as the indicator stays attached and InpAnnounceToFile is on - there is no built-in log rotation or size cap; clear or archive the file periodically if it matters. - Alert() popups queue up in the terminal like any other alert; a very short InpIntervalSeconds combined with InpAnnounceToAlert can produce a distracting stream of popups - lower the frequency or disable the Alert channel if that happens. - ATR and moving-average values are read directly against the current chart's own timeframe; attaching separate instances on different timeframes reports a genuinely different reading on each, which is expected, not a bug.
