Asian Sweep Reversal System

"London sweeps the Asian range and reverses" is one of the most repeated session ideas in retail trading, almost always stated without a concrete definition of what counts as a sweep or how far the reversal has to go. This EA trades a specific, checkable version of it instead. The Asian session's high and low are tracked bar by bar during InpAsianStartHour to InpAsianEndHour, server time. Once the London window (InpLondonStartHour to InpLondonEndHour) opens, every closed bar is checked against that stored range: a bar whose high pushes at least InpMinSweepPoints beyond the Asian high, but which then CLOSES back below it, is a sweep of the top - the entry is a sell, stopped beyond that bar's own high. The mirror applies to a sweep of the Asian low. A bar that closes beyond the range instead of back inside it is not a sweep by this definition - that is a real breakout, and is left alone. Only one sweep trade is taken per server day, and only within the configured London window; a sweep that develops before or after that window is not traded. Session hour boundaries can wrap past midnight if needed, but the two default windows are contiguous and do not require that for the common case. Both the MQL4 and MQL5 versions implement the same rule set. The MQL5 port rebuilds the order-send and ATR logic natively on the position/deal model rather than wrapping the MQL4 order-ticket calls. Notes and limitations - One sweep trade per server day, win or lose - the EA does not re-arm after a stop-out or a closed trade the same day. - Session hours are server time, not the trader's local time or a named market's local time; check the broker's actual offset. - This trades the mechanically defined event only - a genuine sweep and rejection - not a judgement about liquidity, order flow, or institutional intent. No claim is made about WHY the pattern occurs, only that this is what "sweep and reverse" concretely means here. - If the Asian window has not produced at least one closed bar by the time the London window opens (e.g. the EA was attached mid-session), no range exists yet and no sweep can be detected until the next day. - Lot sizing uses the broker's tick value/tick size, not a hardcoded contract size, on both platforms. - The MQL5 version does not check for a netting account and has no foreign-position guard; use it on a hedging account only, as noted above.
