Account Summary To Journal

Every support conversation and half the forum threads start the same way: which broker, which server, what leverage, what does the margin look like, how many positions are open. Collecting those ten numbers by hand means five windows and at least one typo, usually in the number that mattered. This script prints the whole snapshot in one block: broker and server, account number, currency, leverage, balance, credit, equity, floating P/L, margin in use, free margin, margin level, the margin call and stop out thresholds, and the open book - position count split into buys and sells, total lots, and the pending order count. The terminal name and build number are included too, because "which build are you on" is always the second question support asks. Three details are deliberate. The account number is masked to its last three digits by default - support can verify you from those, and a screenshot of a forum post never needs the rest; an input switches masking off when you want the full number. The stop out and margin call lines spell out their unit, because brokers configure them either as a margin level in percent or as a plain money amount, and the bare number is meaningless without knowing which. And the margin level line says "n/a (no margin in use)" when nothing is open, instead of printing the raw 0 the terminal reports - a zero margin level reads like an account one tick from stop out, which is the exact opposite of what it means. The block is printed in reverse order, last line first. The Experts tab shows the newest entry at the top, so reverse printing is the only way the block reads top to bottom on screen and copies out the right way round. Notes and limitations - Read-only. The script trades nothing, modifies nothing, writes no files. - The snapshot is the state at the moment the script ran; on a live account the floating P/L line is stale within seconds. - Copying from the Experts tab prepends the journal timestamp to each line; that is the terminal's doing and support is used to seeing it. - If your journal is sorted oldest-first (MT5 allows toggling the sort by clicking the Time column), the block appears reversed - read it from the bottom or toggle the sort. - The account holder's name is deliberately not printed. A support ticket needs the number, not the name next to it in a public paste.
